Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Master Fabio Gurgel

Professor Carlos Santos began training Jiu-Jitsu in 2001 in his native city of Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 2006, he continued developing his knowledge of Jiu Jitsu under Master Fabio Gurgel, one of the most renounced figures in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu history. Master Gurgel has produced many world champions in the sport and in 2013, he presented Professor Santos with a Black Belt.

Professor Santos is a patient and knowledgeable instructor with over 16 years of training and teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu . He also has trained Muay Thai, Boxing, and Judo. He came to the United States driven to provide his knowledge of self defense to local, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies. He believes that every man and woman who risk their lives daily to protect our nation deserves the best tools available to do their job.

Professor Santos has a great amount experience educating children as well. He believes that Jiu-Jitsu can make a great impact on children’s lives. He has developed a comprehensive program for children that not only teaches self defense but also discipline, character, self confidence, gender quality, personal achievement and problem solving skills.

Professor Santos has always achieved the top rankings in all competitions he has entered since he started training Jiu-Jitsu.
